Liana Melecio, Editor & Staff Writer

Liana Melecio, class of 2022 loves to draw, paint, and read, but it was her interest in writing that inspired her to write for The Big Red. First. She joined the after-school Journalism Club as a ninth-grader. After that, she decided to further pursue writing by taking the journalism class and is now in her second year of writing for The Big Red. She loves the process of building a story based on current events.  Photography also makes Journalism exciting for her. Melecio is currently a junior at Hudson High and has lived in Hudson her whole life. She currently works for Growing Room, a local daycare. In the future, she wants to continue working in early childhood education.
