Gone by Michael Grant is a riveting science fiction novel about a California town, where all people over the age of 14 mysteriously disappear. Facing hunger, strange mutations, and most of all each other, they have to find a way to get out before a sinister creature kills them all. They must find out what caused the strange disaster. Was it a previous nuclear disaster, or could it be something or someone more dangerous?
I would definitely recommend this book because it was intense, suspenseful, and detailed. The book was addicting and hard to put down. When I read it, I finished it in one day.
The characters are relatable and add humor to the intense book. They have personalities that remind me of people that I know which makes the book more interesting. Even though it was sometimes difficult to understand, going between three or four characters at a time, at the end it makes the book seem more interesting.

Hi Cassy,
I have not read this book, but we haven another one with the same title, by a different author (Lisa McMann)! Do you think we should get this book for our library? Stop by and let me know!
