Alex Pantalone is the Hawk of the Week because of his great contributions to the sport that he loves, hockey. He won a state championship, played for the All-Star state team against the Worcester Sharks and played for the state of Massachusetts in a tournament in Minnesota.
Why do you play hockey?
When I was really little, my mom asked me if I wanted to play hockey, and I said yes. She signed me up, and since then I am playing hockey.
What team are you playing for?
Boston Junior Bruins
How do you balance your time?
It’s very hard because it is a big commitment. Sometimes hockey comes first.
How is playing for a club different from playing for the high school?
It’s different because in high school, you are playing with friends and classmates, but in the club, you play for yourself.
What else are you doing except hockey and school?
I work out.
Would you like to play at the pro level?
No, I want to be a manager.
What is your favorite hockey experience?
When my Russian goalie let that goal go in against Oakmont. I have never laughed so hard in my life.
