He shoots! He scores! Tyler Kirby puts the Hawks in the lead and helps to win the last two games through outstanding effort.
Tyler Kirby, a senior, achieved 4 points with his three goals and 1 assist in two games.
On that night, Tyler Kirby showed the ultimate effort and contribution to the scoring side of the team.
Coach Nanartowich chose him as the Hawk of the week because he achieved a hat-trick and one assist.
“He moved his feet very well. He moves into the free zone to get a pass,” Coach Nanartowich says.
Coach was not the only one excited about the game. Tyler was ready to meet them again, too.
“It was a nice game because they beat us in the semifinal [last year],” Tyler Kirby says.
Tyler always acts as a team player. He always wants his team to win and help with everything he can do for the team.
“They had good defense, so I tell my team we have to do more shots,” Kirby says.
Before every game Kirby usually plays air hockey with his friend Shane Barry, the Hudson goalie. Also Tyler tapes his stick outside of locker room while watching other team playing.
Congratulations to Hudson High School boys hockey team for the good job and effort they put in current season.
