What was the most memorable part of the dodge ball tournament?
Anthony Dicarlo- At one point it was three on one — three girls against me — and I got them all out. I was able to dodge the balls they threw at me and hit all three of them, so we won that game.
Kris O’Brien- I got out 7 times but didn’t get hit by the ball once. I kept accidentally stepping out of bounds and getting out because of that.
Rocco Malloy- We lost the first round but still made it to the finals. After we lost the first round, we were scared because it was originally a single elimination but then they changed it. The final game was exciting, nerve wracking, and fun all at the same time. Also, at some point during the tournament I broke my toe, and I’m not really sure how it happened.
Jordan Poirier- Getting our second place prize was pretty memorable. We knew we would lose in the finals. The other team was stacked, and they had a BC commit.
Rachel MacMunn- Some freshman shouldered me in the nose at the beginning of the round when we were fighting for the ball.
Taylor Polomarenko- I was the last squad member left in the game for the first two rounds. It felt like I was in there alone for a really long time, but it was probably only a couple of minutes. It was hard because I couldn’t catch any of the balls they threw at me, so there was no way any of my teammates were going to get back in the game.
