Freshman Kathleen De Moura starts off her first year of journalism as one of The Big Red’s staff writers. She has a strong interest in writing and looks to improve her writing skills through journalism. De Moura is interested in learning about reporting the news, discussing current events, and how a newsroom runs. She loves binge-watching her favorite TV shows with cookie dough ice cream. De Moura is an Aquarius: she is self-reliant, clever, exceptional, and optimistic. In the world of Harry Potter, she also sorted into the Hufflepuff house being loyal, patient and has a strong sense of justice.
