Freshman Andrew Oliveira is taking journalism for the first time this school year. He was recommended to the class by past journalism students. He is interested in the class's independent work and freedom to cover personal interests. Oliveira wants to learn photography to cover sporting events. When not covering sporting events, Oliveira plays football and basketball. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, visiting the Cape, and watching the TV show Outer Banks. Oliveira’s dream vacation is going to the Bahamas.
