Every year, NFL teams make weird, funny, and unique videos to announce the release of their schedules. This year, the teams did not disappoint. Here are my rankings:
1. Bears
The references, production, and jokes were all great. The music choice was good and the cameos were good. Yung Gravy was very random and still funny. Jake Johnson as the narrator was a great choice and he did a good job, as did Anthony Adams as the dean. This was the best one to watch and worked well.
2. Rams
The animation for the Rams was the best. A lot of effort was put in and you can tell. Every game was introduced creatively. A lot of the jokes were funny and this is the best video.
3. Cowboys
This was a great idea. The celebrities they had for their video were hilarious. The best ones were Jake Paul and BBNO$. Them being caught off guard was great and it worked well. This is the funniest video.
4. Chargers
The idea to put their video in the Sims was very unique. All of the jokes they made were funny. The Chargers had one of the best videos last year and did it again.
5. Steelers
James Harrison was very funny in this video. Bringing Harrison in for the video was a great idea and it was nice seeing a lot of their players. Everyone had fun with it and it was fun to watch.
6. Eagles
Playing on the joke that Eagles fans are diehard was a great idea. The video was very funny and the production was good. The actors in it did an amazing job.
7. Patriots
The parody of Good Will Hunting was good and Julian Edelman was the perfect choice for the main character. Rob Gronkowski was funny, as well as the ending. It involved a lot of different players and coaches. The production was great, it just didn’t really focus on the schedule as much as it should’ve.
8. Ravens
I don’t know who Stavros Halkias is, but he was funny in this video. The way they introduced each game was creative. Getting Charger’s coach Jim Harbaugh involved was a nice touch and there aren’t many complaints about the Raven’s schedule release.
9. Jaguars
This was similar to the Charger’s video last year. It wasn’t as good, but it was still great. The animation style was good and I liked the superhero idea. It just feels like the Charger’s younger brother from last year.
10. Packers
This was a good video. I liked the celebrities they got and the video was pretty funny. All of the judges were funny, especially Jaire Alexander. The video just didn’t have much to do with the schedule. Instead of revealing each game, they put the schedule up at the end.
11. Buccaneers
This was surprisingly funny. Rachaad White and Luke Goedeke were great and so were the jokes they made. It was a creative way to introduce each game.
12. Colts
Shane Steichen treating a class of second graders as if they were NFL players was very funny. After that, the players interacting with the kids was great to see. It was overall a good video.
13. Falcons
A lot of the jokes made were funny. This was unique but the animation style was not very good. Sometimes it was so bad that it was funny and I don’t know if they did that on purpose. Either way, it was a good effort.
14. Bengals
I liked the references made about the teams they played and the way they were introduced felt creative. I wish there were more players involved, but I liked the idea of mascots vs. kids. The quality felt a little weird, but other than that it was a good video.
15. Vikings
The idea to make their video like a technology advertisement was a great idea. The production quality was very good and I like the effort put into it. I wish they creatively introduced the games instead of just putting the schedule on the screen. This wasn’t bad.
16. Titans
Their video last year was great. They copied the same idea but worse. Recycling the same idea isn’t creative at all, but it was still funny. The floor was high for the Titans because their video last year was one of the best.
17. 49ers
The art style was great and I liked the references made to the teams they are playing. The video just felt boring. They didn’t introduce the games in a creative way, everyone was listed off. They were close to something great but didn’t execute.
18. Bills
The Parks and Rec parody was funny and Josh Allen did a great job. I enjoyed the use of the construction site outside of the stadium. They could’ve had more players involved and the schedule part was boring. The video was creative but was wasted with someone simply reading off their games. Production was good but it didn’t feel like a scheduled release video.
19. Browns
The music was awful. Other than that, this was a good video. A lot of the jokes were funny and I liked how they got their players involved. Introducing the games was creative, I just can’t get past how bad the music was.
20. Lions
The video was pretty funny, but wasn’t a good schedule release video. Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson carried it for the most part. The way the schedule was introduced was not creative but Robinson and Richardson did what they could with it. I expected more out of the Lions.
21. Saints
The video was really good but it didn’t have anything to do with the schedule. This lasted over three minutes and didn’t mention the schedule until the last fifteen seconds.
22. Raiders
The production was great, the video just didn’t have anything to do with the schedule. It felt like a hype video for the upcoming season more than a schedule release video. Despite that, it was a visually appealing video and felt like a movie trailer.
23. Panthers
This was similar to the Buccaneers but didn’t have anything to do with their opponents. It was funny but why were they drawing each other? They used each portrait to reveal the schedule but it didn’t represent the teams they played. It didn’t make much sense.
24. Commanders
The idea was not great, but at least it was unique. The sound effects were annoying. It felt like they were trying to make it funny but missed pretty hard. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good.
25. Texans
The part holding the Texans back is that the Chiefs did the same thing. Other than that, the idea was decent. It would’ve been better with player cameos. It feels like any team could’ve done this, it wasn’t specific to the Texans.
26. Chiefs
This is another hydraulic press video. Criticism is the same as the Texans. I liked some of the references but a lot of the food ones were gross.
27. Jets
The Jets had a simple idea and got held back by it. It was cool seeing the players behind the scenes, but it definitely got boring after a while. The video was watching them do a puzzle for five minutes. If you are a Jets fan this video would be higher, but I’m not so I don’t care that much about the players.
28. Broncos
I personally don’t care about Lewis Hamilton. They didn’t make any jokes about other teams and it was not fun to watch. The video was just Hamilton eating food. The only good part was the menu at the end that showed the schedule, that was creative.
29. Cardinals
This video was boring and the music choice was awful. The mural was alright. There wasn’t much creativity. At least it was better than last year.
30. Seahawks
They didn’t show the schedule. The extra point is for the graphics they posted on X for each game.
31. Dolphins
This was the most low-effort video. There isn’t anything good to say. It wasn’t funny and it had no good qualities.
32. Giants
This showed how the Giants hate making schedule-release videos. It didn’t have anything to do with their schedule, it just went over how the Giants think schedule release videos are pointless. They didn’t even show their schedule.
