Starting after Christmas break on January 2, 2024, Ski Club is back.
Occurring every Monday from 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Wachusett Mountain, skiers and snowboard board the bus with gear after school.
Skiers get four hours on the slopes. The bus fee for the 6 days of going to Wachusett and back is $165. To get a lift badge you had to pay $209, there’s also Ski and Snowboard equipment to rent at the mountain.
“I get to ski with my friends after school and it’s a lot cheaper than having to plan trips with them at other times. You can meet people from your school who also like to ski and snowboard and make new relationships with them,” said senior Micheal Atwater
It’s a good activity to enjoy after a hard Monday at school, a place where you can have fun for a couple of hours.
“It’s a nice break on a Monday afternoon” exclaimed senior Tanner Richard.
For those who want to join the Ski club, students have until the 15th of December.
