Mance Brookins is a freshman and first-year journalism student.

He is taking journalism to improve his article writing and interviewing skills. So far, his favorite part of the class is the social aspect, where he gets to meet new people. His inspiration is Mr. Brink.

Outside of journalism, Brookins is passionate about sports, with football being his favorite. His favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream, and his favorite artist is Drake.

After high school, Brookins is considering college and hopes to stay local.
