Freshman Chase Farrar is a first-year journalism student at Hudson High School. Though he is new to the subject, he joined the class as a way to explore journalism and hopes it will prepare him for easier choices in future schedules. His main goal this year is to earn good grades, and after high school, he plans to attend college.

Outside of class, Chase enjoys playing Fortnite—a hobby that has already earned him $100 in winnings. He follows news in the gaming world, particularly stories around Fortnite players. If he could interview any person alive or dead, he would interview Edgar Allan Poe.

When it comes to music, Chase enjoys listening to smooth jazz.
