Jacqueline Browning

Jacqueline Browning, Faculty Advisor

Jacqueline Browning (Paton) enters her tenth year as advisor to The Big Red. Before becoming a teacher, she worked as a journalist, writing local news and feature stories for The Berkshire Eagle and The Worcester Telegram & Gazette. She believes everyone has a story worth telling and especially enjoys one-on-one interviews that allow people’s voices to be heard.

A Pittsfield native, Browning graduated from Assumption College with a degree in English, concentrating in Writing and Mass Communication, and minoring in History. Writing has always been a constant in her career path. After changing careers from reporting followed by property management and real estate, she went on to earn her Master of Arts in Teaching English from Salem State University.

Outside of school, Browning is mom to Samantha Grace, her ten-year-old daughter. She enjoys time on the water, lifting, riding her bike, reading, musicals, and traveling with her family. A coffee lover, her go-to drink is an iced Americano.
