Filipe Coelho, a freshman at Hudson High, joined the journalism program because of his interest in photography and his passion for learning more about the field. Though new to the staff, he is eager to grow as both a photographer and writer.

Outside of journalism, Coelho enjoys playing soccer and has his sights set on making the varsity team this fall. After high school, he plans to pursue a career in computer science. A fun fact about Coelho is that he has earned money playing popular video games, including Fortnite. His favorite music genre is hip hop, and his favorite artist is Drake—he says he’s especially looking forward to the release of Drake’s new album.
