Freshman Brayden is new to journalism this year and joined the class to strengthen his writing skills, improve his handwriting, and get better at summarizing information. He also saw journalism as a good fit since he didn’t have a strong interest in other electives.

Brayden’s favorite classes are gym and history—he enjoys staying active and learning about the past. Outside of school, he likes listening to rap music and watching The Boys. His favorite food is Haitian rice and beans, a dish from his culture, and he’s a fan of lemonade.

As he begins his journalism journey, Brayden is looking forward to learning more about the world of writing and media, and he’s excited to contribute to the school newspaper.
