HUDSON — This Friday, the New England Patriots will visit the Morgan Bowl for Hudson’s Senior Night game against the defending Division 8 state champions, West Boylston.
Patriots legends David Andrews and Brian Hoyer, along with Pat the Patriot and several Patriots cheerleaders, will attend to recognize Hudson High’s success both on and off the field.
Over the past year, the Hawks have earned attention for their community involvement. Players have worn cancer-awareness symbols, honored former captain Logan Luz after his ACL injury last season, and displayed “SM” stickers in support of Marlborough Coach Mahoney, who was ill during last year’s Thanksgiving game.

The game is part of the Patriots’ new Nike Rivalry Series, launched this year to celebrate high school programs that demonstrate excellence, sportsmanship, and community commitment.
“I just think the crowd’s energy is going to be amazing,” said Head Coach Zac Attaway. “They were looking for a team that had recent success on and off the field—and one that represents the Nike brand on their uniforms.”
Hudson’s football team was also recognized as the 2024 ON3/Army National Guard Team of the Year for its achievements both on the field and in the community.
Both Hudson and West Boylston enter the matchup with 5–1 records, setting up what promises to be a high-energy night at the Morgan Bowl.
