The girl’s basketball team finished with a record of 12-9. The well-rounded team led by senior captains Maddie Haher and Emma Leonardo, had a year of success and memorable experiences like qualifying and performing well in the Clark Tournament. Other key players included senior Alexis Robinson, juniors Kristina Bruce and Riley Maksymiak, and sophomore Daria Giorgi Woodford.

Senior captain Maddie Haher reflected on her time with the team. “Our team chemistry is what ultimately led to our success. I am so grateful for all of the memories this program has given me, and I am so proud of how our team performed throughout this season.”

Senior captain Emma Leonardo mentioned a similar thing, saying, “Our team had the success we had because we’re all friends outside of basketball.”

The team had many thrilling games, like their game against Maynard where they won 47-44. Their league was very competitive, and every game was a close one. This added to the excitement and fun of their season. “Having such a competitive league gave us more motivation to want to perform well,” said Senior Captain Emma Leonardo. Overall, a great season for the Girl’s Basketball team.
