“My boyfriend and I have been dating since January 4, 2010. I was getting off the airplane from visiting my grandparents in Florida. I was exhausted and Nick told me that he was going to come over to see me as soon as I got home because it was Valentine’s Day and we hadn’t seen each other for over a week. When I got home there was rose pedals leading up to my bedroom. When I got into my bedroom, there was a huge teddy bear with a picture frame with the word love on it the teddy bears arm and in the other arm of the teddy bear were two concert tickets to Taylor Swift on June 25th. It was the best Valentine’s Day ever.” –Autumn Newton
“My girlfriend Lindsey goes to Algonquin Regional High School. We’ve been together since January 20, 2012. I wanted this Valentine’s Day to be special for her so I called in advance to Bertucci’s. I told her we were just going to hang out at my house. When she got there we opened presents. I had my mom call me from my grandmothers and pretend that we were going to pick her up. We were really going to Bertucci’s for food. I was happy I called ahead of time because the wait was fourty-five minutes, but we only had to wait ten because I made the reservation. We had a great time.” – Zack Gay
“My boyfriend Ben lives in Rhode Island. We have been dating since January 27, 2012. He called me and asked where I was. I said I’m running into stop and shop to get a few things and I’d call him when I get out. I walked out to my car and when I got in, he popped out of nowhere and knocked on my window. He was holding a present in his hand. It was Alex and Ani bracelets, and a picture frame that said ‘What keeps me going’ and it had a picture of us. Then he gave me the biggest hug and told me he loved me. It was the best surprise ever because I wasn’t suppose to hang out with him until Wednesday.” – Mary Saffioti
