You have no money in your pocket, and you want water. The water from the bubbler disgusts you, but no need to worry if you have the revolutionary product, Water Bobble. It eliminates the fret of constantly buying water bottles and tossing them away. In the long run, this product saves you money.
I first found out about Water Bobble when my friend sat down next to me with one. She got it for Christmas, and it has cut down on the costs of water bottles weekly. Then, a friend of mine wanted a Water Bobble for her birthday, and when I bought her one, I figured I might as well try it out for myself and bought one too.
Each bottle sells for about $10 dollars. The filters themselves are $7 each; they need to be replaced every two months or so. I would much rather spend $7 every two months for a filter than spend $7 a week on bottled water. Granted, I didn’t buy water every day, but once my tennis season started, I needed water with me every day.
Not only does the Water Bobble have a sleek and curvy design, it’s made to fit in a cup holder in your car, and even just looks cool sitting on your table. The bottles come in six bright colors: blue, red, pink, yellow, green and black.
The bottle itself is made of clear recycled plastic that’s been FDA approved for human consumption. It holds just above half a liter of water. Be warned though, the plastic is thin and can be damaged if you squeeze Bobble too hard when drinking from it. The structure is similar to a regular water bottle by Poland Spring or Nestle. The frame is solid but can be easily damaged.
Now to talk about taste; I was skeptical when I bought this product because I haven’t used anything like it before. In the end, though, I was not disappointed. When comparing my normal tap water flavor to the flavor given by the Bobble, there was a crisp taste difference.
To quote Bobble’s packaging, “Bobble’s carbon based filter removes organic contaminants from regular municipal tap water and meets or exceeds NSF International Standard 42 for chlorine, taste and odor reduction.” It states that the Bobble is made from recycled PET (RPET) and is 100% recyclable.
This product will need regular long baths by hand in warm soapy water. Then it must be dried well with a soft towel. Soak the filter in boiling water to sterilize it. It also says to avoid storing in direct sunlight.
This product is available at many places including Target, Old Navy, JC Penney, Hallmark Gold Crown Stores, Bed Bath & Beyond, American Apparel and Cracker Barrel.
I would recommend this bottle to anyone that spends a lot of money daily on water bottles from machines or from packages. In my eyes, this product receives an A for the idea behind it and an A- for the execution. Way to go, Water Bobble!
