TECH TALK

Pollution is a serious issue, and it can really hurt not only humans but the animals that have to suffer because of it. Technology has grown and has become a very useful thing for us as it can help with all sorts of problems.
One piece of technology called the Mega Robofish was invented and designed to help measure how much pollution is in the ocean. It was made in Spain by a company named Shoal Consortium, and the design is said to be about five feet long and it is designed to look like a fish. It is capable of swimming in deep parts of water and search for any readings of any sorts of metal, water salinity and many other different pollutants.
The robofish was programmed with new and amazing features, such as being able to map their own locations and to weave itself through tough terrain in search of any pollution in the water. The prototype is worth $31,000, and it is said to help reduce harbor pollution which usually costs 2 billion dollars a year. More and more features are being added, and the design is improving so that it can handle more tough terrain as well as even a deeper depth.
