The Hudson Hawks visited the Marlborough Panthers for a non-league lacrosse game on Monday, April 11. Because of the bad weather and rescheduling, this was the Hawk’s first game. The Panthers came into the game 2-1. The game started off well for the Panthers when they went up 8-1 at the end of the second with two goals from both Matt Carlman and Jordan Hanahan. The second half was not one to remember for the Panthers. The Hudson defense and offense stepped up their game. Juniors Mike Kennedy, Mitchell Beyer, Terry Bothwell and Adam Cabral all scored in the second half of the game. The Hawks tied the game at the end of the fourth thanks to two goals from Mitchell Beyer within thirty seconds of each other. Junior goalie Joe Cunningham allowed no goals in the second half. The game went through three overtime periods before junior Mike Kennedy scored the game winner with 1:24 left in the period. Cunningham recorded 21 saves, and the Hawks went on to win their first game of the season.

The panthers are very good and they show their sportsmanship. The hawks always get talented skills and abilities.
